To thank you for your support, we will acknowledge your gift in our newsletter and on the project website. (If you prefer your gift to remain anonymous, please let us know.) All individual donors will also receive a copy of our newsletter. Those giving at the following levels for a single calendar year will receive additional benefits:
- Donors giving $500 or more will receive a future volume of The Papers.
- Donors of $1,000 or more will be acknowledged in a future volume of The Papers and will receive a copy of that volume.
Your gift is tax deductible to the full extent of the law. For tax purposes the volumes sent to donors are valued at $40. Please contact us if you have any questions.
Major funding for the Washington Papers is provided by the Packard Humanities Institute, the National Endowment for the Humanities and the National Historical Publications and Records Commission, as well as by the Mount Vernon Ladies’ Association, the University of Virginia and the Florence Gould Foundation. Your gift, regardless of size, is important to the project in enabling it to meet the matching requirements of many of its grants and to maintain its high standards of quality and productivity.
